optimist, naturally
Since I wanted this blog revitalized, I suppose it wouldn't hurt me to post.
It might hurt you though. It would be full of things like how summer is ending. Like there goes my pay check. Like life is boring, Kris is lonely, things are slow. And there's three months before I move on. And once I move on life will get worse.
Wouldn't that be a crummy post? Hence, I won't make you listen to it.

I'm eating starbursts!
This will be an interesting week. We have a full camp of 9-12 year olds. The camp next door has a band camp going on. The one on the other side of that has a fiddle camp. And the director's son is sitting outside on the deck trying to play guitar.
And her I sit, eating these extraordinary concoctions of sugar, corn syrup, hydrogenated palm kernel oil, fruit juice from concentrate (apple, strawberry, lemon, orange, cherry), citric acid, dextrin, icing sugar, gelatin, modified corn starch, artificial flavours (note the Canadian spelling of flavours!), ascorbic acid, and colours (which, the package informs me, contain tartrazine.)
Wonderful stuff I'm feeding myself.
Now to come up with a good gag gift for a lingerie shower...
