Stupid computer

I just spent way too much time and effort trying to get this computer restarted and the proper display settings restored. After trying in vain to get Windows to load completely in safe mode, I called Pete. It is fixed.

My brain just waved...

Know what I want?

I want to go to Value Village and buy a cheap, plain t-shirt. Then I want to buy some fabric paint. Then I want to write across the front, in large letters, "What Ho?".

Does this appeal to anyone else's inner Wooster?

Thoughts

I'm sitting here (alone, everyone else having taken off)at work amusing myself with a book about Europe and this thought.

If the Rapture were to happen, wouldn't they all freak when they got back?

Am I correctly interrpreting the signals?

Is Cor going to visit the wacked sisters who also post here? Why Does she get to meet you first? And why am I being left out? Why isn't life fair? Now you're all going to have met each other except me. And Cor will know everybody.

As an added incentive to get people to visit us, our backyard now contains a swimming pool. Filled with water, I might add.

Well, fine.

I thought my dead bones convo was good enough to be called lively, but what the heck.

I get the first July post! (The sequel to essy getting the first June post too, as I recall) And if we were Americans (which, obviously, we are not) I would wish you a happy fourth of July. But since we aren't, I shan't. Well, atleast, not in the American fireworks, red-white-and-blue sort of way. So happy fourth of July, simply because that is today's date, in a none-American-sort-of-way. Not to offend any Americans, mind you. We love Americans. We just aren't them. That's all.

Oh, and some very good, and non-non-sensical advice that you NEED TO KNOW. Ready?

CD WALLETS ARE EVIL.

I've found this out the hard, bad way. I just had my second CD crack because of it's being in a CD wallet. (Though I think I will still be able to rip it a burn a new one. Whewh.) It was in my lovely SGI CD wallet, in fact. So finally, I have learned the lesson, the hard way, twice, and will no longer use CD wallets, no matter how convenient. There is always a tendancy to over-fill them.

And thirdly... if there ever was a first and second, I am still not certain. I am going to say farewell, and torture you all no longer with my drivel. But it's a rainy day, again, y'know?
