What's yours?
There are things that to some people, don't really matter. And to others, matter a whole lot.
One of these would be whether you log into your Yahoo! e-mail from yahoo.ca or yahoo.com. Certainly, I am Canuck and thus show my appreciation in one way for being one, by having the ending on my e-mail as .ca, and not .com, like the rest of the masses. But who can bear to log in from yahoo.ca, day after day with the same middle aged woman, who needs her Y! mail to survive!, I suppose, pasted there and who smiles coolly, surrounded by blue? This gives you a chilly feeling that is not at all condusive to coming up with anything of importance to put in e-mails. So as heretical as it may be, I use yahoo.com. For they change the picture. It is probably on a random loop, for I have seen one more than once. But they're refreshing. Bright. Colorful. The beach. Warm. Summer. Bikinis. Eek. They were at the top of their class in marketing.
Some do not mind if their mushrooms or carrots are not scrubbed before eating them. This one makes no sense to me. I'm just not an earthy earthling.
Others don't mind letting something sit idle. Leaving my vehicle idling while I run in somewhere drives me nuts. It's only an option at -40. Some don't mind leaving blogs sitting lonely. I am saddened to see a once happy blog left all alone for months on end. Once a place to put thought into, later a place where no thought exists. I am too harsh.
Some don't care what their underwear and sock drawer looks like, or the things in them. Just as with the login, I like color to stare back at me. White unmentionables? You must be kidding. Black socks? 1 [one] pair max, for dress. As long as they have no holes, thin or fat is fine by me. You see, I'm not an attention-getting person. I don't prefer an abundance of bright colours on the outside. But underneath, it's swell.
And that's where it stands. Don't be militant, but have your preferences. We all should.
